INFN promotes the participation in international or European joint ventures, foundations or companies with the aim of encouraging the application of basic research and innovation and the transfer of knowledge and skills of INFN to the market, contribuiting to the social, economic and cultural growth of the country.
The Institute regulates such activities with the Regulation for the protection and promotion of INFN knowledge.
The document sets out rules about the intellectual property rights on research results of INFN, and the contractual instruments to protect and promote INFN knowledge in relationships with public or private entities.
